Tanzanite is probably the rarest gemstone in the Milky Way galaxy. This still very unknown gemstone is found exclusively in Tanzania within a region measuring just 2x8 km at the foot of Kilimanjaro. We purchase it directly from the few independent mines in this small region.. Tanzanite owes its blue-purple coloring to the rare element vanadium, which is why it is often said to have metabolism-regulating, intuition- and realization-promoting properties.
